UNABLE TO TAKE A SELF-GUIDED IMAGE USING THE EXTERNAL HEAD ON AN SBIG CAMERA

    ISSUE

The autoguiding image goes black when initiating a self-guided image with CCDSoft configured to autoguide using the external CCD head. Self-guided images where CCDSoft is configured to autoguide using the internal guiding CCD work properly.

    RESOLUTION

Obtain CCDSoft 5.00.130 or later from http://www.bisque.com/hotfixes. Prior to this version, the shutter on the external guide head would not follow the shutter on the main CCD, which resulted in the shutter being closed on the external head.

    APPLIES TO

    CCDSoft Version 5
