Software Bisque Knowledge Base Article – 1075

I PURCHASED AN UNREGISTERED OR USED SOFTWARE BISQUE PRODUCT. HOW DO I TRANSFER THE SOFTWARE LICENSE?

ISSUE

All Software Bisque software is distributed under the Software Bisque Software License Agreement (SLA). One of the terms of this agreement that the owner must agree to when installing the software states that Software Bisque retains ownership of the software, and the licensee may not transfer the software license.

RESOLUTION

Software Bisque must transfer the software license agreement from the previous licensee to the new licensee.  In order for this transfer* to take place, where possible, both parties must notify Software Bisque of the transaction, in writing, so that Software Bisque can legally transfer the software license. Please carefully review the SLA for details about the software licensing agreement. Please email following the information to the Software Bisque Front Desk.

Current Legal License Holder’s Information (Transferor** ):

• Email address associated with Software Bisque Support member account
• Serial number(s) of product(s), where applicable

Party to Transfer the Legal License To (Transferee):

• Email address (associated with Software Bisque account)

With the above information, Software Bisque can legally transfer the software license.

Paramount Mount and Paramount Software Serial Number, Software Upgrade and License Transfer

Software Upgrade/Hardware and Software License Transfer Fee: $500

The transferee receives a one-year subscription to TheSky Professional Edition (all operating system ), the Cameras+ module, TPoint module, and Multi-OS+ module. Additionally, a Paramount ME II, Paramount Taurus  and Paramount Apollo include the Domes module.  This license transfer fee does not affect the original Paramount Limited Warranty.

TheSky and Other Software License Transfer

Software License Transfer Fee: The transfer cost is equivalent to that of renewing the software product’s subscription for one year. For example, TheSky Serious Astronomer is $30, TheSky Professional Edition is $100. This does not apply to a Paramount Software Suite transfer, which includes TheSky Professional Edition.

Subscription: The transferee receives a one-year subscription to the software product, effective the date of the transfer.

Additional Notes

• Any remainder of the transferor’s subscription will be forfeited; it cannot be transferred.
• Please allow ten (10) business days for the license transfer to be completed.
