DIGITAL DOME WORKS NO LONGER SLAVES THE DOME CORRECTLY USING THESKY6

    ISSUE

Digital Dome Works (DDW) does not maintain the dome position correctly when integrating with TheSky6 version 6.0.0.23 . Earlier versions did.

    RESOLUTION

TheSky6 saves the position of the telescope to a text file, which the DDW software uses to position the dome. The format of this text file was modified (from “RA= Dec=” to “RA: Dec:”) in TheSky6 version 6.0.0.23, so that the DDW software cannot recognize the format, and therefore cannot slave the position of the dome to the telescope.

This issue is addressed in TheSky6 version 6.0.0.24 and later. Watch http://www.bisque.com/hotfixes for the latest updates.
