CCDSOFT VERSION 5’S 3-D SURFACE PLOT DOES NOT FUNCTION

    ISSUE

I’ve loaded a grayscale image into CCDSoft, and clicked Research | 3-D Surface Plot, but no window appears showing the 3-D graph.

    RESOLUTION

CCDSoft relies on the presence of files from third-party library to generate the 3-D surface plot. If one or more of the following files is missing, or an older version exists on your computer, or one or more of the files is not registered properly, then the 3-D graph may not appear.

    1. Make sure the following files, with at least the stated version, are present in the Windows System folder:

      a. VCF132.ocx, version 3.1.3.1 or later
      b. VCFI32.ocx, version 2.0.5.1 or later
      c. VCIDL32.dll, version 2.0.5.1 or later
      d. VCIWZ32.dll, version 2.0.5.1 or later

    2. Make sure VCF132.ocx and VCFI32.ocx are registered correctly. See SBKB Article 1077 for details on how to register these files.

    APPLIES TO

    CCDSoft, version 5.
