TEMMA MOUNT DOES NOT SYNCHRONIZE CORRECTLY TO NEGATIVE DECLINATIONS

    ISSUE

When I attempt to synchrionize the Temma mount at a negative declination, the telescope cross hairs do not appear on the object. Subsequent attempts to slew give an error message “Slew error: right ascension incorrect. Error code = 8030 (0x1f5e)” or similar.

    RESOLUTION

This issue has been resolved in TheSky6 version 6.0.0.28 and later. A command formatting error prevented the Temma from being synchronized correctly at negative declinations.

    Workaround
Synchronize the Temma at positive declinations only.

    APPLIES TO

TheSky6 Professional Edition, TheSky6 Serious Astronomer Edition, version 6.0.0.27 and earlier.
