HOW TO COMPLETELY REMOVE (MANUALLY UNINSTALL) THESKY6

ISSUE

How can I completely remove TheSky6 from my computer?

If you encounter a problem with TheSky6 that you believe will be resolved by uninstalling and reinstalling, try the procedure described in SB KB Article 1135 first. If the behavior persists, and you must uninstall TheSky6, see below.

RESOLUTION

The “normal” procedure to uninstall TheSky6:

1. Click Start | Settings | Control Panel.

2. Open the Add/Remove Programs icon.

3. Navigate to TheSky6 entry in the Currently Installed Programs list.

4. Click Remove.

5. When prompted to remove the selected application, click Yes.

If a virus or other computer malfunction has corrupted your Registry or “Currently Installed Programs list,” then use the following procedure:

1. Run “TheSky6Defaults.exe.” See SB KB Article 1135 for details.

2. Use Windows Explorer to delete TheSky6 installation folder. By default, this folder is named “C:/Program Files/Software Bisque/TheSky6“.

3. Highlight TheSky6 icon on the desktop and then press the Delete key.

4. Navigate to the Start | All Programs | Software Bisque | TheSky6 menu item. Right click on the menu item and then click Delete.

TheSky6 is now completely removed from the computer.
