    Software Bisque Knowledge Base Article – 171

    SKY DISPLAY SHOWS OTHER OBJECTS, BUT NO STARS

    ISSUE

    While zoomed in to a narrow (50 or less) field of view, no stars appear, but other objects (deep-sky, lines, etc.) do.

    RESOLUTION

    1. Make sure that TheSky’s CD-ROM is in the CD-ROM drive.
    2. Check that the CD-ROM drive letter is correct (especially if customer has a CD changer or more than one CD-ROM drive).
    3. Try running :/Redist/MViewer/MViewer2.exe and opening :/Tutorial/Tutorial.mvb.
