    DARK FRAMES DIFFERENT BETWEEN SKYPRO AND CCDSOFT

    ISSUE

    A dark frame taken using SkyPro and applied to a light frame taken by CCDSoft results in a different image than a dark frame taken by CCDSoft, then applied to a light frame taken by CCDSoft.

    RESOLUTION

    Symptom
    ============================================================
    Dark frames acquired by SkyPro do not work with light frames acquired by CCDSoft

    Cause
    ============================================================
    SBIG changed its camera temperature regulation equations. SkyPro uses older equations, CCDSoft uses newer equations. This difference results in different dark frames between the two applications.

    Resolution
    ============================================================
    Retake dark frames with CCDSoft.
