    THESKY FOR MACINTOSH CAUSES TYPE 2 ERROR

    ISSUE

    When either the Filters or Reference Lines command is selected from the menu, TheSky quits and the system reports a Type 2 error.

    RESOLUTION

    If TheSky quits and reports a Type 2 error when selecting either the Filters or Reference Lines command, there may be an extension conflict.

    Early versions of the Kensington Startup extension conflict with TheSky, causing the above behavior. Updating to the latest Kensington Startup extension solves the problem.
