CONJUNCTION FINDER CAUSES ILLEGAL PAGE FAULT

ISSUE

When trying to run the Conjunction Finder tool in TheSky v5.00.007 (hold Ctrl+Shift while clicking Tools, Eclipse Finder command, or run WSTOOLS32.EXE), an error message is displayed:
“This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists, please contact the program vendor.”
Selecting Details reveals:
“WSTOOLS32.EXE caused an Invalid Page Fault in module SS32.dll@…”

RESOLUTION

This was caused by a change in the SS32.dll file, with which WSTOOLS32.EXE is not compatible.

This will be addressed in a future revision to TheSky.
