ASTRONOMY TUTORIAL PERFORMS ILLEGAL OPERATION

ISSUE

On running the Help, Astronomy Tutorial, error message displayed:
“This program has performed an illegal operation.”
“MVIEWER2 caused a segment load failure in module MVSRCH2.DLL.”
The Multimedia Viewer is then closed.

RESOLUTION

There is probably a .DLL version mismatch. Customer should copy the contents of the CD-ROM’s ../Redist/MViewer folder to his C://SYSTEM32 folder. It may be desirable to make a backup copy of his copy of these files before they are replaced.
