ZOOMING IN UNEXPECTEDLY ROTATES FIELD OF VIEW

    ISSUE

Field of view rotates unexpectedly while zooming in.

    RESOLUTION

If the center of the Sky Display is above 30 degrees declination (N or S) and the field of view is changed above or below 50 degrees, and the orientation is Zenith Up, the Sky Display will rotate slightly. This is normal behavior. At 50 degrees, the projection currenlty used is automatically switched from a Stereographic projection (greater than 50 degrees) to a Polar projection. There is no way to maintain the exact orientation of the Sky Display between the two projections.

If the orientation is switched to Pole Up, this behavior is minimized.
