THESKY L3 WON’T RUN AFTER INSTALLING UNDER WIN32S.

    ISSUE

When installing TheSky Level III under Windows 3.1x, it thinks it is under Windows 95 and defaults to the /Program Files/Software Bisque/TheSky directory.
After completing installation the icons are not built and the program does not run. (If the icons are built, they report “Unable to find C:/Program Files/Software Bisque/TheSky/Sky.exe” or similar). TheSky directory may contain 0 files.

    RESOLUTION

    1. Delete the /Program Files directory and its subdirectories (may need to use MS-DOS’ DELTREE command).
    2. Re-install TheSky, but when prompted for the install directory, change to a Windows 3.1x-legal name (8.3 format, e.g. C:/TheSky).
